Anonymous said: does studying architecture at barnard require a lot of math/physics?

Hello,

Sorry if you asked this a long time ago. I haven’t been on Tumblr in a while. The architecture program at Barnard is more focused on the artistic and conceptual aspect of design and has no strict math or physic requirements. The department does however recommend you take physics and calc if you plan on pursuing architecture grad school. I personally have never taken physics and took an urban studies GIS course for my math credit. Best of luck!

Check out Katie Armstrong. I saw this short film in Chelsea and it’s really girly and cute but also melancholy.

I found this little zine at Book Culture a few weeks ago which gives really awesome inspirational advice to artists. The author just released a book that compiles the first five issues. It’s really great if you’re an artist or just need some life advice.
